Privacy notice
This notice explains what Bible & Logic processes when you read Scripture, ask a question, save study material, or purchase a subscription.
What stays on your device
The bundled mobile Bible, local reading preferences, notes, highlights, bookmarks, and locally stored reading-plan progress remain on your device unless a screen explicitly offers server sync. Notes and highlights are not included in AI model requests.
What leaves your device
When you ask an online question, the question, selected language and translation, reasoning mode, and retrieved Scripture evidence are sent to the Bible & Logic server. The server sends the question and the minimum assembled evidence to whichever AI providers are enabled for that request (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, and/or xAI).
Accounts and study history
Web sign-in uses a passwordless email link. We store the email and session records needed for the account. When server history is enabled, signed-in questions and the final structured answers may be stored so you can revisit or export them. Mobile creates an opaque installation account; the raw installation identifier is kept in secure device storage and only a one-way hash is stored by the server.
Payments
Stripe processes web checkout and billing-portal activity. RevenueCat and the Apple App Store or Google Play process mobile purchases. Bible & Logic stores provider customer, subscription, and entitlement identifiers needed to grant access; it does not receive full card details.
Caching, logs, and security
Question and evidence cache keys are hashed and scoped by language, translation, mode, tier, and pipeline version. Operational logs are designed to exclude raw questions, email addresses, session tokens, and API keys. No system can guarantee perfect security; report a suspected exposure immediately.
Your choices
You can use the public reader without an account, delete web history from the History screen when enabled, export that history, sign out, restore mobile purchases, and manage billing through Stripe or the relevant app store. Automated account deletion is not yet available. Email [email protected] for access or deletion requests.
Retention and children
We retain account, entitlement, and webhook records only as needed to operate and reconcile the service and satisfy legal obligations. The service is not directed to children under 13.
